Discover feed in Microsoft Teams

Hello, Microsoft 365 Insiders! We’re excited to announce that a new setting in Microsoft Teams lets you show or hide the Discover feed.

Show or hide the Discover feed in Microsoft Teams

The Discover feed aims to make it easier to get informed and engage with the most important content in Microsoft Teams. The purpose of this feed is to improve information discovery and awareness by providing a personalized, relevance-based feed of Teams channel content. This feed helps you identify important conversations that you might otherwise miss due to information overload.

We’ve heard from users that they want a toggle feature. Discover the feed Turn it on or off in the Teams interface. Now you can!

How it works

1. Choose Settings and more In Teams, click the button next to your profile picture and select setting.
2. to general On the Settings page, toggle: Show Discover in your channel list You can turn the setting on or off depending on your preference.

   In Settings, toggle Show Discover in channel list.

effectiveness

To use these new features, you must be a member of the Teams Public Preview or Microsoft 365 Targeted release and use the new Teams client for Windows or macOS.

To enable Teams clients for public preview, your IT admin must enable: Show preview feature According to the update policy.Learn more.

For targeted releases, global administrators can go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and grant access to selected individuals or to the entire organization.Learn more.
