It’s a great time to be a Microsoft partner, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). In September we announced Microsoft 365 Copilot Agents will be generally available over the next few weeks. Copilot Agents (formerly Extensions) help independent software vendors (ISVs) enhance their solutions by adding their app’s expertise and technology to the Copilot experience.

For ISVs, Copilot agents expose apps directly into workflows in Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 products. UiPath, an enterprise automation provider and valued Microsoft partner, is at the forefront of this agent wave. UiPath has already released Copilot Agent, a Copilot agent for simple automation. UiPath Autopilot^TM; In November 2024, we’ll be publishing more advanced Autopilot agents in Teams for complex workflows and business processes. This agent is a conversational Teams bot built using UiPath’s own large-scale language model-based digital assistant Autopilot and web app Orchestrator.
