explanation

Insert/Update/Delete Replication

Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server All changes to your data are replicated incrementally to Fabric OneLake in near real-time without any ETL process, ensuring your data is up-to-date and synchronized.

Direct query access

You can query data in OneLake directly from SQL analytics endpoints to seamlessly create complex analytical queries, view building, and visual queries.

SQL analytics endpoint experience

Use SQL to run complex aggregate queries targeting one or more flexible server databases, create detailed views, and easily build visual queries. You can cross-join data with other mirrored artifacts in Fabric, Lakehouse, or Warehouse.

Integration with third-party tools

Use analytics endpoints within Fabric and in third-party tools that support SQL to improve access to views and queries for rich data analysis.

Lake House Shortcut

Adding a mirrored database as a shortcut to Fabric Lakehouse allows data engineers to create detailed notebooks, leverage Spark to perform deep data analysis, and combine mirrored database data with other data sources.

BI visualization and reporting

Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible servers Visualize your data and create fast BI reports using Direct Lake. Take advantage of co-pilot capabilities to build rich, interactive content for dashboards and reports.

Start mirroring

  • Go to Fabric->Data Warehouse Workloads and click Mirrored Azure Database for PostgreSQL (Preview).
