Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Applicants must hold a first class or 2.1 Honours Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree (with Honours or Distinction) in a related field such as Engineering, physics or mathematics.
  • British eligibility requirement.
  • No restrictions on staying in the UK.

Job description:

  • Contribute to cutting-edge research to refine and extend the theory of wave-based thrust harvesting on various floating platforms.
  • Use computational and experimental methods to further develop the wave-eating propulsion technology.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team of academics in energy engineering, computational fluid dynamics and multiphase fluid mechanics.
  • Contribute to the decarbonization of the offshore and marine industries through innovative research.
