Finnish Cultural Foundation Announces Arts Fund for All (Finland)

Art grants are paid mainly for work purposes, project implementation and acquisition costs. Common purposes include the personal work of an individual artist, the production of music or theater by a work group, or the purchase of musical instruments or other types of tools. The work done in these types of projects must be long-term. The following are considered when evaluating a project:

• Number of encounters in the project: with multiple audiences or over a long period of time with a single audience.
• Applicant’s understanding of arts participants and how they will engage in defining project goals.

• Arts for All grants are for work, project-related costs, or both. The minimum amount you can apply for is €25,000 in the October round.
• Approximately 350,000 euros are allocated annually for this purpose.

Ineligible Expenses

• Grants will not be awarded:
  • through wage increases or incentive subsidies.
  • on social grounds
  • Available for basic (bachelor’s and master’s) degree students for work grants or student exchanges involved in their studies.
  • For overseas postdoctoral research, excluding visits lasting less than one semester (less than 6 months)
  • To cover general printing costs
  • For internship.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant is a creator of artistic content. Artists from any artistic discipline can apply for this grant. In addition to individual artists, registered professional art groups such as working groups and associations can also apply.
