Funding Information

• Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) sponsors the POLAR Antarctic Scholarship each year, valued at $10,000.

Qualification criteria

• Applicants must:
  • Are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada; or
  • You must be regularly enrolled in a doctoral or master’s program at an accredited university at the time of application and for the duration of the award.
  • Participate in Antarctic research resulting in a thesis, major paper, publication, or similar output.
  • Adopting an interdisciplinary research approach or methodology;
  • Demonstrates dedication to polar research.
