This new program allows eligible independent software vendors (ISVs) that offer cloud communications and collaboration platforms the opportunity to provide their customers with collaborative experiences inside and outside of meetings. ISVs participating in the program can enable their customers to view, collaborate, and co-author documents within Microsoft apps on their platforms. We’re excited to expand this experience, available in Microsoft Teams, to new platforms. Enable real-time Microsoft 365 document collaboration The Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program allows eligible ISVs to embed the collaborative Microsoft 365 Apps experience into their preferred communication and collaboration platform. And we’re delivering the same quality customers expect from Microsoft in terms of accessibility, security, and privacy. The Microsoft 365 document collaboration partner program includes: Web app option for real-time co-authoring Qualified ISVs can now offer simultaneous collaboration and editing capabilities for documents integrated into the platform. This includes the ability to integrate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from SharePoint and OneDrive for Business. Available starting today. Word document image that allows multiple users to collaborate Live app options for meetings Soon, customers will be able to experience interactive, engaging experiences with PowerPoint Live and Excel Live in their preferred conferencing solution. PowerPoint Live and Excel Live allow meeting participants to interact and collaborate with documents in real time, including editing and navigating documents directly from the meeting window. Partnership for Success with Zoom We worked with Zoom to leverage their expertise in communication and collaboration in developing the MDCPP. “We are continuing our collaboration with Microsoft, as we announced earlier this year, to bring this feature to market for Zoom Workplace customers,” said Brendan Ittelson, Zoom’s Chief Ecosystem Officer.
