I’m Sammy Chiu from the Office team. I’m excited to share that you can now use Word and PowerPoint cloud files offline in the Office Mobile apps for iOS, as well as in the standalone Word and PowerPoint apps for iOS. Access Word and PowerPoint cloud files offline on iOS Sometimes you need to access and work on your files even when you have limited or no network connectivity. Now you can view and edit Word documents and PowerPoint presentations stored in the cloud that are marked as available offline on your iOS device. How it works On the home screen More options Click the menu (three dots) of the Word document or PowerPoint presentation you want to view or edit offline. Tap to activate Make it available offline toggle. Toggle to make available offline When a file is marked as downloaded with a check mark icon, you can view and edit it offline. ZT3006 file has been downloaded Scenarios to try To see all files available offline, select: open Click the tab, then tap Other Repositories >. Offline files. Disconnect the device and open one of the files you designated for offline use. Known Issues Available only for Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. Excel workbooks are not supported. effectiveness This feature is available to users using iOS version 2.47 (21022805) or later.
