Scholarship opportunity: Managing Generative AI: The KIN research group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam offers two PhD positions for the project “Managing Generative AI in the Workplace”. The aim of this project is to investigate the impact of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) on work practices, interactions and organizational structures.

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Research Master or MSc in Business administration, sociology, anthropology or an equivalent course of study.
• Competence in qualitative research methods.
• Fluent English required, knowledge of Dutch preferred.
• Strong motivation for high-quality research and academic writing.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with industry partners.

Job description:

• Conduct theoretical and empirical research on the consequences of GenAI at the group and organizational level.
• Study topics include the impact of GenAI on work practices, interactions between professionals, and organizational responsibilities.
• Contribute to the department’s curriculum.
