We are excited to announce new features and improvements to the ADX Web UI. Read on to learn more. Ad hoc visual data exploration Dashboard real-time refresh rate Improved data interaction for dashboard tiles Resize and move dashboard tiles using only your keyboard Introducing ad hoc visual data exploration capabilities The new “Explore Data” feature lets you dig deeper into the data in any dashboard, expanding your exploration beyond the tiles displayed to discover new insights. This user-friendly form-like interface lets you add filters, create aggregations, and switch visualization types without having to write a query. Now you can start your journey and expand your view of the data by ad hoc exploring the data using existing tiles. Addressing popular customer requests, this upgrade allows both editors and viewers to set up near real-time and real-time data updates, ensuring your dashboards display the latest information with minimal delay. Experience faster data refresh and make timely decisions with improved dashboard functionality. Dashboard authors can enable the auto-refresh setting and set a minimum time interval to prevent users from setting an auto-refresh interval smaller than the value provided. The Continuous option should be used with caution. Data will be refreshed every second or after the previous refresh is complete if it takes more than a second. Improved data interaction for dashboard tiles We are excited to announce new features that will enhance your service. Interacting with data Especially when multiple data series are involved, they are displayed visually in dashboard tiles. You can interact with the data by selecting specific items in the legend. mouseBy using Ctrl key Add or remove selections Hold down Shift Please select a range. that find Buttons allow you to quickly filter items. Users with edit permissions to a dashboard can customize the position of the legend on tiles to improve readability and data interpretation. Resize dashboard tiles using only the keyboard We’re excited to introduce a new accessibility feature that lets you resize dashboard tiles using only your keyboard. Press the Tab key to focus on a tile, then use the arrow keys to move the tile. To resize, hold down Shift and use the arrow keys. Press right to increase width, left to decrease width, down to increase height, and up to decrease height. This feature improves the accessibility and usability of the ADX Web UI by making it easy to move and resize with the mouse. The Azure Data Explorer Web UI team is looking forward to your feedback.
