Excel users can now pause or resume sheet protection, manage sheet protection, and edit locked and unlocked ranges just like in Excel desktop or Excel for the web. Invoke, Pause, and Resume Sheet protection can be activated from the sheet tab or ribbon. Click on the sheet tab with the lock icon, then select the “Protect…” option in the floating UI. Or you can go to: examine > protect To access the sheet protection feature, go to the ribbonThen click “Pause Sheet Protection” to temporarily disable protection for the protected sheet. Click “Resume Seat Protection” to re-enable it. If you previously set a password, you will need to re-enter it to proceed. Pause and Resume Seat Protection Manage and allow range editing To adjust sheet protection settings, select the “Manage sheet protection” option. This feature allows you to modify your password, adjust protection options, and add, edit or remove editing scopes. Sheet Protection Management effectiveness To use this feature, install Excel on iPad version 2.90.930.0 or later. Don’t have it yet? Probably not you, but us.
