We are excited to announce the Public Preview of Templates Support in Azure Logic Apps Standard! This release represents an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to simplify and accelerate the development of enterprise integration solutions.

Templates in Azure Logic Apps are pre-built workflow solutions designed to address common integration scenarios. They cover a wide range of use cases, from simple data transfers to complex multi-step automation and event-driven processes. Templates provide a solid foundation so you can quickly set up and deploy workflows without having to start from scratch.

Template support is now available in public preview, enabling developers to get started with Logic Apps projects by leveraging a library of pre-built templates. These templates are designed to cover a wide range of scenarios, from common workflows to complex integrations, making it easier than ever to build, deploy, and manage applications.

This is just the beginning, and we are committed to evolving this feature by adding more templates based on your feedback and contributions.

Start your template today

To get started with a new template, simply create a workflow using the templates available in the Logic Apps Designer. Each template includes detailed information about the workflow and a read-only view so you can review the entire workflow, prerequisites, connectors used, and more to ensure it meets your needs. These workflows are easy to customize and can be further extended to meet your specific business needs. For detailed instructions, check out our updated documentation and tutorials.

I don’t see the template I need

If you’re interested in a template for a specific scenario or pattern and it’s not in the gallery, you have a few options.

The recommended approach is to publish your workflow as a template by following a few simple steps. This will allow you to adapt your solution to your specific needs, while also helping others in the community. This will also prevent you from having to rely on Microsoft for urgent needs. However, all templates must go through the PR process, where they are reviewed by engineering and content experts. The detailed steps are outlined here.

If this is not an option, please submit a template request here to have it added to our template backlog. https://aka.ms/survey/templates
