Fully integrated into everyday tools across Microsoft 365 and Teams, Copilot for Sales leverages the power of generative AI and customer data to keep sellers in the flow of work, so they can spend more time with their customers. This month we are enabling the following features: Streamline your experience In Outlook, Teams, and Copilot Studio. First: Enable email banners* to: Update your CRM data quickly – Right from the email message! Next, users who log in to Copilot for Sales for the first time Connect to your CRM directly from Teams Rather than having to log in to Outlook first. Also Activate Zero Click Login We are working on providing and eventually implementing the Copilot for Sales extension using Entra ID. Easy to use sample authentication connector plugin – Right in Copilot Studio! * In the new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web, you’ll see up to two external emails per day. The features highlighted below are included in this month’s Copilot for Sales release. It may take some time for certain features to reach all tenants in each market. In Outlook Streamline CRM tasks with actionable message banners in Outlook Effectively managing important day-to-day CRM tasks, such as adding new contacts or leads and saving customer emails, is essential to maintaining productive customer relationships. Each banner is contextualized to the email it’s displayed in, showing only relevant content and actions. By clicking on a task, the seller can jump directly to that environment in the sidecar to complete the task. The banner will appear in a maximum of two external emails per user per day. In the team CRM login experience in Teams Today, new users of Copilot for Sales are having a hard time because they start in Teams and then have to go to Outlook first to log in to their CRM. This is because the sign-in functionality in Teams is not the same as the sign-in functionality in Outlook and is not consistent. I’m excited to start this month. Improved login experience. Simplified zero-click sign-in experience for Copilot for Sales extension using Microsoft Entra ID (Preview) Currently, Copilot for Sales users must explicitly log in to a connector plugin that extends Copilot for Sales, even if the connector plugin uses a Microsoft Entra ID for authentication. Copilot for Sales starts this month. Automatically creates connections for connector plugins that use Microsoft Entra IDs. Used for authentication if your Copilot administrator has already enabled the connector plugin for Copilot for Sales users. This allows users to view data and insights in non-CRM applications that extend Copilot for Sales and use their Microsoft Entra ID, saving time and effort by not having to explicitly log into those applications again.
