Research area: Senescence in tissue regeneration

Location: Vienna, Austria

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Postdoctoral Fellow: Ph.D. in a relevant field, expertise in tissue damage responses, cell fate determination, and related research methods.
• Predoctoral Student: Pursuing a Ph.D. with a keen interest in tissue damage response, cell fate determination, and relevant research.
• Laboratory technician: Hands-on experience in molecular histology, animal physiology, and understanding of tissue injury responses.

Job description:
The postdoctoral and predoctoral fellows will investigate the heterogeneity of cellular phenotypes, including proliferation, senescence and differentiation, upon tissue damage. They will explore the origin of this heterogeneity, relevant mechanisms and modulation for improved tissue repair and combating tissue pathologies. The laboratory technician will contribute to research using molecular histology and animal physiology to study responses to tissue damage, regeneration, healing, cellular senescence and aging.
