I’m excited to announce that gridlines are now available in PowerPoint for Mac, making it easier than ever to align objects in your presentations! Grid lines in PowerPoint for Mac The popular Gridlines feature that you love in PowerPoint for Windows is now available on Mac. This handy feature applies a dotted grid to your slides and provides visual cues to help you align shapes, images, text boxes, and more as you create your slides. How it works Ready to try out gridlines in PowerPoint for Mac? Open an existing presentation on Mac OS and select the slides. to see Select a tab Grid lines Check box. Gridlines checkbox on the View tab of the Ribbon A grid appears across the slide. Grid lines on slides in PowerPoint for Mac To hide the grid lines, clear: Grid lines box. Scenarios to try Grid lines help you align all the images in your presentation in the same position across all slides. Create two text boxes on your slide and align them vertically or horizontally. Tips and Tricks Another way to access this feature: Open an existing presentation and select a slide that contains both text and visual elements. Right click on the slide and select Grid and Guides > Grid lines From the context menu. Right-click on a slide to access the grid menu. effectiveness We’re rolling out grid lines in PowerPoint to Office Insiders on Mac using Beta Channel version 16.62 (Build 22050804) or later.
