Refresh your meeting details experience in OneNote for Mac and iPad

Access these features from a familiar location on the ribbon and enjoy an improved meeting selection experience.

Insert tabs in the OneNote for Mac ribbon

Meeting Details now automatically detects meetings on your calendar and pastes them into OneNote with one click.

How it works

1. To save meeting notes in OneNote for Mac or iPad after a Teams meeting Insert > Meeting DetailsClick and select the desired meeting.
2. If you added meeting details to the page before the meeting Refresh entire page Click the button at the bottom of the window to add meeting materials generated from a meeting recording or transcript to the notebook page. memo: Content added to the notes section of meeting details will not be overwritten by updated content.
3. OneNote takes the meeting details and adds them to the currently active page.

Known Limitations

• The following are currently not available as content sources for saving meeting notes in OneNote for Mac or iPad:
• Third-party email accounts and calendars
• Shared calendar.
• Attachments are shared using: Send to OneNote Commands in Outlook on the web or new Outlook for Windows
• Share using AI-generated content Send to OneNote Commands in Outlook on the web or new Outlook for Windows
• Loop components do not render on the OneNote canvas for Mac or iPad. To access this feature, use OneNote for Windows or OneNote for the web.

memo: either one team premium or co-pilot certificate You’ll need it to create AI-generated meeting content and add it to OneNote.

This feature is available to OneNote for Mac and iPad users running version 16.88 (build 24082514) or later.
