Under the guidance of the Unit Manager, the Assistant supports key initiatives in knowledge production, policy debate and public outreach. Main responsibilities Support the Public Policy Department in the areas of logistics, administration and procurement to ensure smooth implementation of the Action Grant, including working closely with other relevant ALF departments to ensure coordinated efforts and streamlined processes. Prepare comprehensive periodic reports that capture the progress and achievements of the Public Policy Department, while also creating and maintaining a data repository that organizes statistical and financial records related to the department’s activities. Manage the public policy department calendar and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, results and interactions. Distribute internal communications according to the established hierarchy to ensure consistent information. Work closely with the ALF Communications Unit to support effective communication and dissemination of Public Policy Unit initiatives and related events. requirements Bachelor’s degree in a field related to administration, project management or another relevant discipline related to the main tasks of this position. At least three years of proven experience in providing comprehensive logistical and administrative support. At least two years of practical experience in organizing meetings and events. At least one year of hands-on experience in the project management cycle. This includes familiarity with project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
