As part of our commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment, HFHJ has launched the Revolving Fund Program to provide financial assistance to families in need of housing improvements. The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Revolving Fund program, ensuring its effective implementation and assisting families in accessing financial assistance for housing improvements. The Program Coordinator will be based in Amman and will be involved in the implementation of the Revolving Fund program activities, supporting field operations, monitoring program activities and managing the financial aspects of the partner loan fund. In addition, HFHJ runs a volunteer program in Jordan to support local communities and families in building homes with volunteer assistance. Under the supervision of the Revolving Fund Manager, the Program Coordinator organizes volunteer participation, coordinates work with local volunteers, promotes volunteering in the communities, and acts as a liaison between the sending program and host communities. They are involved in the implementation of volunteer activities and ensure timely program delivery in line with HFHI goals and objectives, maintaining impartiality and neutrality in all interactions with stakeholders. This role is central to HFH Jordan’s mission: fostering connections, facilitating learning experiences, and ensuring volunteers feel valued and supported throughout their journey. Duties and responsibilities: Execute Revolving Fund Program plans consistent with HFHJ’s mission. Coordinate the disbursement of funds and ensure compliance with regulations. Providing technical support and expertise for housing improvements through local partners. Conduct on-site visits to assess needs and monitor project progress, providing technical guidance as needed. Creating and conducting training courses on financial management, construction and project planning. Build and maintain relationships with communities, the Directorate of Social Development, CBOs, government agencies, financial institutions and donors. Provide ongoing support to participants and partners for successful housing improvements. Document program impact through database management, photos and success stories, and prepare reports for stakeholders and donors. Implement systems to track program progress and impact. Promote community engagement to improve Habitat for Humanity programs. Manage loan portfolios, prepare letters of intent and loan agreements to finance families, and apply KPIs for financing performance and loan management. Implement protection protocols among volunteers, staff and communities, raise awareness and monitor compliance with protection principles. Supervise construction activities, including determining scope of work, estimating bills of quantities, coordinating with contractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and making structural proposals for modifications or additional work. Maintain accurate records of construction activities for project evaluation and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. Develop quality assurance and control policies to ensure compliance with agreed work plans, technical specifications and HFH quality standards. Any related tasks requested by the direct supervisor. Required knowledge and expertise Minimum: Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international development, business administration or a related field. Years of relevant experience: At least three years in program management, community development, or a related field. Experience in nonprofit development and volunteer program management is highly recommended. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in an international NGO, ideally with Habitat for Humanity or a similar nonprofit. Qualifications: Strong project management skills in planning, implementing and monitoring development programs. Leadership experience and the ability to lead volunteers. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software applications. Fluent in English and Arabic (written and oral). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders. Strong writing and speaking skills. Intercultural sensitivity, diplomacy and adaptability. Basic accounting knowledge. Commitment to Habitat’s vision, mission, goals, values and principles of servant leadership. Problem-solving skills with innovative and creative solutions. High flexibility and adaptability. At least 4 – 6 years of experience in a related field of engineering, civil and structural engineering, and residential construction, including materials, techniques and codes.
