What happens when product support ends?

When a product’s support period ends, Microsoft will no longer provide:

• Security fixes for vulnerabilities that have been discovered and may more directly expose a device, app, or server to a security breach.
• Bug fixes for issues that have been discovered and may impact the stability and usability of the product.
• Technical support for problems that may arise.

Continued use of the product after support has ended may negatively impact your organization’s security, compliance, and productivity. Because migration can take time, we recommend that you begin upgrading to a supported version of your product as soon as possible.
