Eligibility/Qualification:

• Ph.D. in Cell or molecular biology, biochemistry or biomedical engineering
• Previous experience in handling mammalian cells is essential
• Knowledge of bioinformatics, including Python, R and the Linux operating system, is desirable
• Knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques such as cloning, immunoblot analysis and NGS library preparation
• Previous knowledge of fluorescence microscopy and image analysis is an advantage
• A successful publication list and good English skills

Job description:
The postdoctoral fellow will be involved in genomic and transcriptome analyses, live cell imaging of cells using fluorescent reporters, and the use of purpose-built equipment to simulate physiological environments and mechanical stimulation. The Lammerding lab is known for its multidisciplinary research environment and leadership in the field of nuclear mechanobiology.
