Postdoctoral Researcher in Mitochondrial Biogenesis: The International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines (IMol), Polish Academy of Sciences, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Laboratory of Mitochondrial Biogenesis. The successful candidate will work on the project “Mitochondrial import pathways of viral proteins,” exploring and characterizing mechanisms of translocation of viral proteins to mitochondria.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral degree in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry
- Strong publication record and experimental training
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken)
- Strong motivation, creativity, and analytical thinking
- Research experience in another area of molecular biology will be advantageous
Job Description:
- Conduct experiments using biochemical, cell, and molecular biology techniques
- Design experiments and analyze data
- Write manuscripts
- Participate in the supervision of MSc and PhD students
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications
- Actively participate in lab meetings, scientific seminars, and conferences
