The successful candidate will work on the project “Mitochondrial import pathways of viral proteins,” exploring and characterizing mechanisms of translocation of viral proteins to mitochondria.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral degree in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry
- Strong publication record and experimental training
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken)
- Strong motivation, creativity, and analytical thinking
- Research experience in another area of molecular biology will be advantageous
Job Description:
- Conduct experiments using biochemical, cell, and molecular biology techniques
- Design experiments and analyze data
- Write manuscripts
- Participate in the supervision of MSc and PhD students
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications
- Actively participate in lab meetings, scientific seminars, and conferences
