Postdoctoral researcher in immunobiology: Join an international center of excellence focused on biomedical research and improving people’s quality of life. We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our team and contribute to the understanding of the role of the innate immune system and immunometabolism in homeostasis and aging.

Location: Barcelona, ​​​​Spain

Eligibility/Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Biomedicine or Life Sciences (completed within the last 2 years)
• Experience in scientific studies and their dissemination
• Fluent written and spoken English

Desirable:

• Research experience in the field of innate immune cells, aging and/or immunometabolism
• Knowledge of techniques such as mass and flow cytometry, mouse models, primary human tissue and cell culture, bioinformatics tools and molecular biology techniques

Job description:

• Management and organisation of projects within the scientific framework of the group
• Conduct high-quality research in collaboration with other team members
• Participation in group meetings and scientific discussions
• Get involved in the training of young scientists in the research group
• Writing manuscripts in collaboration with the Principal Investigator
