Postdoctoral fellow – development of synthetic lymph tissue

  • Research area: Development of synthetic lymph tissue
  • Location: Greater Region (Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium)
  • Eligibility/Qualification:
  • PhD degree in Biophysics, bioinformatics, biochemistry or a related field.
  • Experience in RNA sequence analysis and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with cell culture and advanced microscopy is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of German is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Job description:
  • Design and characterize synthetic cell tissues with immunological properties.
  • Perform large and single cell RNA sequencing experiments and analyses.
  • Investigate interactions between synthetic cells, cancer cells and immune cells.
  • Search natural product drug libraries for immunoregulatory compounds.
