Postdoctoral Fellow in Mass Spectrometry: EMSL and PNNL are looking for a talented postdoctoral fellow to work on state-of-the-art instruments and methods for matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) and laser ablation electrospray ionization (LAESI) and mass spectrometry imaging (MSI).

  • Designation: Postdoctoral Fellow
  • Research area: Development and use of advanced imaging mass spectrometry techniques to investigate complex processes such as interactions of the soil microbiome and plant cell biology.
  • Location: Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in the United States.
  • Eligibility/Qualification:
  • Have a PhD in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of mass spectrometry and imaging techniques.
