Eligibility/Qualification:
- Degree Required: Ph.D. or equivalent
- Required Skills: Expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or biochemistry; experience in mammalian tissue culture.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with mouse cancer models, flow cytometry, viral vectors, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, high throughput sequencing, and bioinformatics.
Job Description: Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Travis Stracker. The major focus of the lab is to understand DNA damage-induced signaling in cancer and identify targetable vulnerabilities that can be used in therapy. The lab employs multiple approaches, including genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screening, quantitative proteomics, and imaging-based screening to identify and validate new cancer targets.
