Postdoctoral positions in the CarrerasLeaders programme: The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals to join the CarrerasLeaders programme as postdoctoral researchers. This programme is co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of the European Commission and offers a unique postdoctoral research opportunity in the field of blood cancer.

Postdoctoral research positions in the CarrerasLeaders program, Spain

Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Research area: Blood cancer – Covering the full spectrum of research and innovation in blood cancer, from understanding disease biology to implementing products and processes in the market and in clinical practice through a global translational approach.

Location: Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, Greater Barcelona, ​​​​Spain

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Completed the doctorate by the application deadline.
• Up to 7 years of postdoc experience.
• Fulfillment of the MSCA mobility criteria, i.e. not having resided or carried out the main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately preceding the deadline for the call for applications.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

Job description:
The successful candidates will work under the supervision of one of the 41 IJC Research Group Leaders or 8 Scientific Platforms Managers. They will develop postdoctoral projects, participate in global translational research and benefit from a stimulating, interdisciplinary working environment. Optional international and/or intersectoral secondments (3-11 months) are possible and provide a valuable opportunity for professional development and collaboration.
