Postdoc position: New materials: The Laboratory of Photonics and Interfaces (LPI) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the battery team. The position will focus on the development of new materials for redox flow and zinc-ion batteries in collaboration with industrial partners and a team of experienced researchers.

Job description:
As a postdoc on the team, the selected candidate will play a key role in advancing the field of redox flow and zinc-ion batteries through the synthesis, characterization, and testing of new materials. Responsibilities include leading experiments to synthesize, characterize, and test new materials for redox flow and zinc-ion batteries, evaluating the performance of these materials in electrochemical cells and battery systems, supervising and guiding students, and contributing to the preparation of research publications.
