Research/Work Area – Biomolecules using Electrochemistry

Location- Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India

Authorization/Qualification–

Required qualifications: Candidates must possess a first class Master’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized University with 4 years of research experience and NET/Gate qualification OR a first class M.Sc. + PhD degree/submitted dissertation in relevant subjects from a recognized University.
The research experience should be supported by two internationally published, peer-reviewed articles.

Desirable qualifications: Investigation of the redox behavior of biomolecules using electrochemistry. Whole genome analysis, structure and interaction analysis of metalloproteins. BSL2 handling, expression and purification of recombinant proteins. Synthesis and characterization of bio-nanoparticles.

Job description-

Applications will be accepted on paper (or as a signed PDF file) for a purely temporary position for a Project Researcher I (NM) in a research project entitled “Identification and classification of proteins of the cysteine-rich family of Helicobacter pylori and analysis of their redox properties”, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India.

Position: Project Researcher 1 (NM): One

Salary: Rs. 56,000/- pm + 27% HRA

Project duration: The selected candidate will be employed on a purely temporary basis, initially for one year. The employment can be extended for a further year or until the end of the project period (31.01.26) if the candidate’s performance is satisfactory.
