Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer science or another relevant discipline (e.g. psychology or sociology)

  • Willingness to develop teaching skills and supervise students
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Job description:
The successful candidate will conduct research to understand the impact of software-centric community events on scientific communities and then design, implement, and evaluate interventions to support codebase evolution, community engagement, member integration, and knowledge sharing. Working with interdisciplinary teams, facilitating hackathons and other events, and contributing to educational activities are integral parts of this role.
