PhD position in research on the vestibular sensory system

Eligibility/Qualification:

• Almost completed master’s degree in biomedical sciences
• Profound experience in Medicine, biomedical sciences, neuroscience, biology, pharmacy or related disciplines
• Passion for advancing the understanding and treatment of balance disorders
• Excellent English skills
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively in an interdisciplinary and international environment

Job description:

• Conducting studies to correlate functional deficits with pathologies in the inner ear in vestibular loss
• Use advanced techniques such as vestibular reflex testing, transcriptomics and confocal microscopy
• Work with animal models and human biopsy samples to improve the treatment of balance disorders
