Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A convincing MSc in natural sciences, preferably in Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology, Microbial Ecology, Biotechnology or a related field
  • Knowledge and experience in microbial ecology, microbiology, metabolomics or molecular microbiology
  • Sound theoretical knowledge (desirable, but not mandatory)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Motivation to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Job description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the area of ​​microbial community ecology and evolution. The focus of the project can be tailored to the applicant’s interests and provides the opportunity for a tailored research experience. Responsibilities include planning and conducting experiments, data analysis and interpretation, participating in teaching tasks, writing publications and presenting work in various forums.
