PhD scholarship opportunity at I2BC: Join a cutting-edge research project at the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (I2BC) in Gif-sur-Yvette, France. • Suitability for experimental work in Cell biology and biochemistry
• Creativity, independence, reliability and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of cell imaging or CRISPR/Cas9 screening is a plus
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate
• Good knowledge of English (French not required)

Job description:
The successful candidate will:

• Conducting research on a novel post-translational protein modification involving ATG8 proteins
• Utilize techniques such as cell culture, cloning, targeted mutagenesis, Western blotting, establishment of lentiviral stable cells, immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy, LC-MS/MS after purification, CRISPR/Cas9 screening and BiFC assay approaches.
• Collaboration with the Autophagy and Antiviral Immunity team led by Guillaume Beauclair (MCU)
