Possibility of a postdoc fellowship in Sweden: Exciting opportunity for foreign researchers to conduct postdoctoral research in Sweden with a tax-free fellowship.

• Location: Sweden
• Eligibility/Qualification:
• Swedish researcher willing to host a foreign postdoctoral fellow.
• The foreign postdoc must not have obtained his or her doctorate more than five years before the application deadline and must not have resided in Sweden for more than nine months before the deadline.
• Only one application is permitted per researcher and application period.
• Applicants who currently have funding from other sources for a foreign postdoc are not eligible to apply.
• Applications from young researchers are given preference.
• Job description: This postdoctoral fellowship offers a tax-free stipend for a period of 6 to 24 months. Successful applicants are expected to conduct research within the given time frame, contribute to the research goals of the host institution and engage in scientific activities. The fellowship offers opportunities for professional growth, collaboration and networking within the Swedish research community.
• How to apply:
• Prepare a comprehensive application that includes:
  • Summary of the research project
  • Educational background and expertise of the postdoc
  • Impact of the postdoc’s research on the applicant/host institution
  • Postdoc CV and list of 10 selected publications
  • Short CV of the host and list of 10 selected publications
  • Concise description of the planned research project (maximum 5 pages, including references)
• Begin the research plan with a half-page general summary.
• Please send all application documents in font size 12, Times New Roman.
• Last application date:
• The application deadline is October 1st at 11:59 p.m.
• The application portal opens two months before the deadline. If October 1 falls on a weekend, the portal closes on the following Monday.
