Microsoft 365 Apps for Business Over the past three years, new features in this release include dynamic charts and more than a dozen new text and array functions in Excel, improved search and meeting creation options in Outlook, and performance, security, and accessibility improvements. Choose the productivity suite that’s right for your organization Office LTSC 2024 offers many important improvements over previous Office LTSC releases, but the on-premises product does not include the cloud-based capabilities of Microsoft 365 apps, such as real-time collaboration, AI-driven automation, or cloud-enabled security and compliance features. For customers who need additional flexibility in deployment and connectivity, but not a completely separate solution, Microsoft 365 has options that can help. For example: Device-based licensingSimplify management of Microsoft 365 apps in environments where many users share devices, such as computer labs or hospitals. And Extend offline access You can use it to maintain access to Microsoft 365 apps on devices that need to be disconnected from the Internet for up to six months.
