Notice of Planned Maintenance : Aug 20th, 2024 – 4pm-5pm Pacific

Dear Community Members,

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain industry-leading security best practices, we are implementing some changes to the Microsoft Tech Community. Our primary goal is to ensure that your experience is safe, seamless, and reliable. The changes will take effect from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Most members will not notice any changes during this transition. However, users whose sessions expired while the change is taking effect are slightly more likely to experience issues logging in, as well as users logging in for the first time that day.

Affected users will see that when they attempt to log in, they are redirected back to the Community homepage, where instead of their avatar and name displayed in the top right corner, it simply says “Log in.”

We understand that this may be disappointing and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will provide an update once the transition is fully completed.

Please do not contact our team for any login related issues during the maintenance period. If the issue persists after the work is completed, clear the cache and try logging in again. If the issue persists after that, do the following: Contact our team.
