New Features for GitHub Copilot for Azure

We’ve been focusing on adding new features to our private previews, and we’ve added some of my favorites to our latest release!

Building Apps for Azure 🏗

• Need help getting started with a new Azure project? Ask a question @azure Help me with ideas for new projects! @azure Now you can find developer templates that can be a good starting point for what you want to create. Here’s an example:
  “@azure Help me get started with Python RAG applications“

Deploy to Azure 🚀

• I can ask you again @azure If you need help initializing, deploying, and creating pipelines for your Azure projects via the Azure Developer CLI (azd), you may get more than a simple text response. Try cloning the project from the Awesome AZD site and try the following:
  “@azure Please help me deploy this app to Azure“

GPT-4o

• @azure We are now using GPT-4o for more accurate and faster answers (if you haven’t used it for a while, the speed difference will amaze you!)

Slash Command

The Slash command is back. @azure And you are in control!

• use @azure /learn ... To learn about Azure
• use @azure /resources ... To get information about Azure resources
