🏫 ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology AllahabadPrayagraj (MNNIT) is an institute fully committed to quality and excellence in academic fields. It was established in 1961 as one of the seventeen Regional Engineering Colleges of India as a joint venture of the Governments of India and the State of Uttar Pradesh and was an associate college of Allahabad University, the third oldest university in India. The institute started by offering bachelor’s degree courses in civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. It was the first institute in the country to introduce bachelor’s degree course in computer science and engineering in 1976-77. Subsequently, bachelor’s degree courses in electrical engineering and production and industrial engineering were introduced in 1982-83. The institute’s first master’s degree course was introduced by the department of mechanical engineering in 1966. Master’s degree courses were introduced in all other engineering departments in 1970-71. To add a new dimension, the Institute established the School of Management Studies in 1996, which offers a two-year or four-semester postgraduate course in management (MBA).

MNNIT Allahabad is an Institution of National Importance (as per NIT Act 2007) fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India and is fully committed to quality and excellence in academic fields. The Institute invites applications from eligible Indian citizens on tenure basis for the recruitment of Temporary Faculty Members for routine teaching duties through a competitive process through Walk-In Interview in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, MNNIT Allahabad. Temporary Faculty Members will be appointed for odd semesters on full-time basis and may be extended for another semester based on their performance and recommendation of the concerned department. 🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

First class (60% of points or GPA 6.5/10) Master’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline with first class grade (60% of points or GPA 6.5/10) in the Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech.) program. Preference is given to PhD students.

🏆 Salary / Compensation / Pay Scale ₹

• M. Tech in Engineering Ph.D. in Humanities/Sciences/Management In the range of 40,000/- to 45,000/- per month (all inclusive)
• Ph.D. in Engineering In the range of 50,000/- to 55,000/- per month (all inclusive)
