Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellow: We are seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to lead a groundbreaking project focused on the application of digital technologies for mental health in primary health care settings. This role involves collaboration with Harrison Healthcare, a leading private healthcare provider in Western Canada, and the QuERBY Lab led by Dr. Jeremy Stewart. The position offers flexibility and allows candidates to work remotely or from one of Harrison Healthcare’s locations in Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB.

Location:

• Remote (anywhere in Canada)
• Optional in-person work at Harrison Healthcare sites (Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB) or at the QuERBY Lab.

Eligibility/Qualification:

• PhD in psychology, psychiatry or a related field
• Experience with psychometric assessment and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-5-TR
• Strong skills in writing manuscripts and grant proposals
• Interest in digital technology for mental health and primary health care

Job description:
The postdoctoral fellow will lead a project focused on evaluating the psychometric properties of Harrison Healthcare’s Mental Health Assessment Technology (MHAT). Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting semi-structured diagnostic interviews with patients in primary care
• Conducting dimensional measurements of psychopathology
• Management and analysis of collected data to evaluate the effectiveness of MHAT
• Assistance in writing manuscripts and grant applications
• Participation in secondary data analyses and other research projects in the QuERBY Lab
• Optional participation in training opportunities such as EEG/ERP and eye tracking methods
