Hi, Microsoft 365 Insiders! I’m Aaron Liu, a product manager on the Forms team. Our team has been working hard to use AI to help you create memorable invitations (and follow-up responses) for your next event, whether it’s a cozy dinner by the fireplace or pool, or a life event like a wedding or graduation party.

Microsoft Forms: Invitation Design Solution

When you’re ready to plan your next event, the winning combination of Microsoft Forms and AI makes sending invitations a breeze.

With a variety of themes and cover pages available, you only need to enter important details like date, time, and location. You can also add background music to set the mood for your guests and hint at what is to come.

How it works

1. move Template Collection And choose Holiday Party Invitation.
2. Click here Start editing Click the button to edit the invitation as desired.
3. Slide to add music. Background music Click the toggle and select the option you want to use from the list.

4. Click to add a question to your invitation. Newly added Please select the type of question you would like to ask.

5. Enter the required information and add a photo if you wish.

   memo: You can also refine your cover page design by uploading a photo from your device or a search result from Bing.com.

6. Click to send invitation Collect responses Click the button in the top right corner of the window and choose the option that best suits your needs – Copy link, Send via Outlook or Teams, Generate QR code, Send via Facebook and Twitter (Consumer accounts only).

Can I send the form to an external audience?

Yes, you can now send forms to both internal and external email addresses simultaneously.

How can I easily set up a form that only certain people within my organization can respond to?

When entering the recipient’s email address to If you type it in the box, it will be added automatically. Specific people in my organization may respond. Add to list Send and collect responses Page. No more typing the recipient name twice!
