Microsoft 365 Multi-Tenant Organization (MTO) Features Enables organizations to seamlessly deliver enterprise-wide Viva Glint surveys across multiple tenants. This functionality is also available in Viva Engage and can be enabled through the Microsoft 365 admin center or Microsoft Entra admin center. Problems can arise due to the complexity of the tenant. Tenants are the digital representation of an organization and provide a trusted architecture for security, productivity, and compliance at scale. Organizations may have multiple tenants with different groups of employees for a variety of reasons, including organic growth, regulation, mergers and acquisitions, all of which impact the number of tenants an organization owns and manages. This segmentation is often necessary, but can also create complexity when trying to deploy Viva Glint surveys across tenant boundaries. The Value of MTO for Complex Enterprise Organizations Understanding employee engagement and feedback across the organization is a global need that cannot be limited by tenant boundaries. To improve employee experience across the organization, employees need seamless access to Viva Glint results to understand their emotions and drive change. With the launch of multi-tenant capabilities, users across multiple tenants within an organization can seamlessly access Viva Glint. Administrators can provide one enterprise survey and provide dashboard access to administrators across multiple tenants in the organization. Multi-tenant capabilities allow organizations to organize tenants into secure, autonomous entities that can access applications installed in other tenants independently of their home tenant. Tenants are linked by common policies and underlying services to advance a common mission. When setting up a multi-tenant organization, administrators have two options for syncing users across tenants. Requirements for Viva Glint and MTO All tenants use a Microsoft Entra ID. All tenants exist in the same cloud. Viva Glint is installed on one tenant (called the target tenant). All Viva Glint licenses to be used in a multi-tenant organization must be purchased for this tenant. Here we have covered the Viva Glint setup process for a multi-tenant organization. This article goes into more detail about the two options for syncing users: B2B collaboration or cross-tenant sync. summation We are excited to support multi-tenant capabilities in Viva Glint. Organizations can now seamlessly deliver enterprise-wide surveys across multiple tenants, ensuring employee engagement and feedback is not limited by tenant boundaries. This capability allows administrators to provide administrators across multiple tenants with a unified survey experience and dashboard access, improving the overall employee experience and driving organizational change.
