In this blog post we meet our Gold Student Ambassadors. Niklas Olsen Security and AI Platform MVP Jannick Reinhardt. They teamed up to create a unique learning series titled ”.Mastering Endpoint Security: Securing Devices in the Modern Workplace“at . We recognized the need for this series and developed it together, which will run over four weeks via live streaming events.

We sat down with them to discuss how their collaboration began, how they improve each other’s skills, and what advice they have for colleagues eager to get started.

Can you tell us about what prompted you to create the event series?

Niklas: “It all started after attending the same conference in the UK in July. We discussed various opportunities to contribute to the community. We both wanted to give back and our main mission was to help beginners get started with Microsoft Intune. It was to help.”

Janique: “The biggest motivation for the series was knowing that we’ve been in the same position before: feeling a little overwhelmed about where to start with Intune. We wanted to cover the basics of Intune and help beginners avoid the same pitfalls we did. “I decided to create a helpful series.”

How did you come up with the topic and theme for the event series? Was there a specific trend or need in the community that you wanted to address?

Janique: “From the beginning, we agreed that this series should provide a foundational knowledge of Intune, covering everything from what Microsoft Intune is to configuring policies and device management. We encourage viewers to experience the product itself firsthand. I want to do that, and that’s the core of learning about Intune.”

Niklas: “As mentioned earlier, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Our goal is to provide our viewers with foundational knowledge and resources to help them take the next step.”

How did you two come to collaborate on this event series? And how did your roles as student ambassador and MVP complement each other in creating this event series?

Niklas: “We have collaborated before on a variety of occasions, including in other sessions and online communities. With our past collaborations, it was natural to create this series together in Microsoft Reactor.”

Janique: “We both have a passion for sharing knowledge with the community. We realized that this series could help beginners get started with Intune and build a bridge between theory and hands-on experience.”

As a student ambassador and MVP, can you share specific examples of how you worked together to bring a unique perspective or solution?

Niklas: “One of the most important aspects of our partnership is that it allows us to bridge the gap between experienced professionals and beginners in the world of IT. This combination allows us to target a wider audience and help both newcomers and experienced individuals Here are some valuable tips and tricks from the series that everyone can follow and benefit from.”

Janique: “Of course. When MVPs and student ambassadors work together, we can bring together a wealth of experience and new perspectives. As an MVP, I have years of industry experience and deep technical knowledge, which I can share with the community. , Nicklas brings fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that can inspire professionals like me as a student ambassador.”

How do you see your collaboration developing in the future? What are your plans for upcoming events or projects?

Niklas: “In addition to the Microsoft Reactor series, we are already planning several sessions together in the future. One session will be on ‘MAM for Windows: Enabling Your Devices for Success,’ where we will discuss how to secure Windows BYOD devices. We’re also We plan to collaborate both virtually and in person on future events.”

What advice would you give to other community members looking to start collaborating?

Niklas: “The best advice we can give is to actively connect through multiple platforms like LinkedIn, Meetup, and Discord. This is a great starting point. I’ve experienced a positive response when I connect with people, but the real magic comes while connecting. We believe that meeting people is a place where people can get to know each other better and build lifelong friends and connections around the world through online communities.

Janique: “Networking is key. You should never be afraid to reach out to colleagues, especially if you’re new to the area. Attending an event in person for the first time may be a bit scary, but it’s worth it. You’ll meet the same people. “Thoughtful, passionate people, people who can connect, can gain valuable information and insight into the industry, and perhaps even ideas about how to solve problems in your company.”
