Join Loop workspaces with a link

Hello, Microsoft 365 Insiders! I’m Kat Orevillo, a Product Manager on the Loop team. I’m excited to share that you can now easily join or share access to your Loop workspace with a link. The process is now faster than ever!

Join the Loop workspace using a link

We’ve listened to your feedback and know that having to add users to your Loop workspace one at a time is slow and frustrating. That’s why we’ve created Loop workspace links. Now you can copy these links and share them in Teams, Outlook, or any other communication platform to quickly grant access to your workspace.

How it works

Copy and share your workspace link

1. In the upper right corner of your workspace Share Menus and Selections Workspace.

   

2. location Workspace Link Select a section and choose Copy link.

3. Send your team a link to your workspace via your preferred communication platform. memo: This feature does not currently support guests, but you can add guests to your workspace using their name or email.

Manage pending members

When a team member clicks the workspace link, they will be added to the workspace as a pending member. To accept or reject these members, do the following:

1. Go to the members list of your workspace and find: Member on hold Section. The number next to the Pending Members label shows how many users are waiting for review.
2. Select each member individually Accept or decrease.

   Click the Accept Pending Members button to share your Loop workspace.

3. To approve all pending members at once, select: Accept all.

This feature also works on Loop for iOS and Android! Join a workspace, copy a link, or accept members right from your mobile device.

Known Issues

• Currently, notifications are not issued in the following cases:
  • There are pending members in your workspace.
  • You will be approved to the workspace you joined via the workspace link.
• This feature is not currently supported for personal Microsoft accounts.
• This feature is not supported in workspaces created during Loop Private Preview.

effectiveness

This feature is now available to all Loop users with Azure Active Directory login.

Features are released over time to ensure everything works smoothly. They are released slowly to a larger number of Insiders, highlighting features you may not have. Sometimes we remove elements based on your feedback to make them even better. This is rare, but we also have the option to completely remove a feature from the product, even if you, as an Insider, had the opportunity to try it out.
