What made you join the Power Platform community, and how has the journey been so far? MVP Julie Yak: The Power Platform community is a natural evolution of the Dynamics community and the Microsoft developer community. I’ve been a part of both these communities for decades, and now I’ve had the opportunity to watch the Power Platform community grow stronger and support more experts. It’s a very welcoming space. MVP Heidi Jordan: As a modern workplace manager, 2024 was truly the year of Copilot for me. I’m especially looking forward to seeing what it will be like. Microsoft CoPilot Studio We’re evolving to make it easier to leverage data from external sources using Power Platform connectors. But as we see more organizations adopting these tools, it becomes clear that with great power comes great responsibility. It is important for enterprises to fully understand the governance options available from Microsoft. I recently attended a PPCC session that highlighted the trust foundation for successfully launching Copilot Studio in an enterprise environment. This session covered tools for controlling access to data and generative AI, cost benefits of using the Power Platform and Gen AI, and risk management and compliance strategies. I am currently learning more about some of the features such as DLP capabilities, Advisor recommendations, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and the solutions and pipelines available in Copilot Studio. MVP Julie Yak: The Power Platform opens up countless possibilities for countless people. Have you worked in retail for the last three years? No problem.
