How Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program Transformed me by info.odysseyx@gmail.com October 21, 2024 written by info.odysseyx@gmail.com October 21, 2024 0 comment 5 views 5 hello i am Niranjan Acharya And student ambassador Nepal I am studying computer engineering. I grew up in a small town, but when I was there, life was very simple and dreams seemed elusive. When I was twelve, the first technological gift my father gave me was a small model telephone. Sure, it was just a toy, but for me that simple toy sparked a curiosity about things like this that would last my whole life. Growing up, we all have dreams of what we want to be when we get older, but as I got older and learned more, I knew I wanted something that was meaningful not only to me, but to the community and the soil I was part of. What feeds me. One day while surfing the web, I came across the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program. Then, I applied to this program because I thought it would definitely give me what I wanted. Participating in the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador (MLSA) program has opened up many opportunities for me. It’s all about the programs and facilities I received, my learning journey, as well as how I can give back to the world. This trip inspired me to volunteer and become a force for change in my community. I feel inspired to contribute something to the world I live in and try to share happiness. This has led me to freely volunteer for over 10 international projects helping others save thousands of dollars through my skills, with the sole goal of making a positive difference in their lives. Gradually, I started providing free education to students from various universities. Passing on knowledge and skills: I was doing my part. Every summer and winter break, I returned to the village to educate people about various digital tools. Most recently, this has included training on how to effectively use social media and AI tools (related to cybersecurity). We aim to provide knowledge on how to use technology effectively and safely. This vacation I designed Web-based emergency response app It will be used to help people in need in my municipality. I also handed over the app to our municipality free of charge and received an honorary certificate from the municipality for my work, as it helped to have a huge positive impact on the emergency situation. It was the moment I realized that I went from being a curious village kid to having the ability to give back. As a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, my life is now very different. The lesson was that no matter where you come from, with hard work and the right environment, you can bring light to people. I hope this story will help others realize their own potential and use it to improve their communities.
