Today I’m going to talk about an update to the color picker in Office. We’ve added new input fields based on your feedback. colors Dialog box for hexadecimal color values! No more wasting time converting hexadecimal color values to RGB values. This update is available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Visio, Project, Access, and OneNote on the Windows desktop. The ability to set colors based on hexadecimal codes is already available on the Mac. Color picker in Office apps with a field where you can enter a hexadecimal color value. Get started Open the file in one of the supported applications. For properties that can define a color, click the corresponding button on the ribbon (e.g. Font Color Click the button More colors. at colors Click in the dialog box custom tag. For example, enter a Hex color value in the Hex box. #0F4C81 or 444 effectiveness Hexadecimal color values are available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Visio, Project, Access, and OneNote for users running Insider Fast Version 2003 (Build 12607.20000) or later on Windows. We usually release features over a period of time to make sure everything is working smoothly. This also applies to Insiders. Since we release slowly to a larger number of Insiders, we highlight features that you may not have. Sometimes we remove elements based on your feedback to make it even better.
