Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society and was established by the State of Uttar Pradesh under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide The Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh Act, 14 of 2011. The University commenced its operations in the academic year 2011-12. In July 2011, Galgotias University opened its doors to the first batch of about 1,700 undergraduate and graduate students. Today, in 2021, the student population has grown to over 13,000. Galgotias University aspires to become an internationally recognized university that excels in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary education, research and innovation and produces globally competitive graduates who have the potential to become leaders in their fields of practice, and is well on its way to becoming so. 🎓 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

Conditions of participation:
PROFESSOR – Ph.D. with 10 years of experience in the relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR – Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – Postgraduate in the relevant discipline. Preference is given to PhD students.
