ExpressRoute guided configuration of multi-site circuits and connections is generally available by info.odysseyx@gmail.com October 1, 2024 written by info.odysseyx@gmail.com October 1, 2024 0 comment 0 views 0 The ExpressRoute guided experience for configuring multi-site resilient circuits and connections is generally available in the Azure public cloud. The guided experience makes resiliency a core aspect of configuring ExpressRoute circuits and virtual network gateway connections. Three resiliency options are available: Maximum, High, and Standard. Maximum resiliency provides redundancy both across and within peering locations. High resiliency provides redundancy across peering locations, but not within a peering location. Standard resiliency provides redundancy only within the peering location. The new experience provides information including distance between peering locations (sites) and traffic engineering recommendations to help users make informed configuration decisions. Highlights: Multi-site resiliency options: Options include maximum, high, and standard resiliency, each with varying levels of redundancy. User-friendly configuration: Users can configure and connect ExpressRoute circuits through the Azure portal, PowerShell scripts, and ARM templates. Informed Decision: To help you choose your configuration, we provide traffic engineering recommendations and detailed information about peering locations. Backwards compatible: Supports augmentation of existing standard resiliency connections to multi-site maximum resiliency connections Take advantage of these enhancements to ensure network resiliency with ExpressRoute.
