Exploring the latest AI features in Clipchamp

Hello, Microsoft 365 Insiders! We’re excited to announce two new AI features coming to the Clipchamp video editor: noise suppression and image background removal.

Check out Clipchamp’s latest AI features

AI has dramatically changed the video editing experience, offering numerous benefits that enhance both efficiency and creativity. We’re excited to leverage these two new features to help you do more and better optimize your video content.

• Noise suppression Helps reduce background noise in video or audio tracks, improving sound clarity and quality.
• video Remove background Remove background from any image without green screen.

Let’s take a closer look at both.

Noise suppression

Bad audio can ruin a great video. Whether you want to remove subtle hum or loud distractions, noise suppression can do it without compromising the quality of your voice. Now you can save your recorded audio on a busy street, in a house with kids, or even in a cyclone.

Simply upload your noisy audio to Clipchamp’s video editor and access the noise removal tool. Audio Tabs in the Properties panel.

Turn on Noise suppression Selecting this option automatically removes background noise and provides clear voice recording.

Plus, you don’t need an expensive microphone or software to get great audio quality. The noise reduction feature is completely free for personal and business accounts on Clipchamp.

Noise suppression is available to all customers using a personal account. This feature is starting to roll out to customers using a Work account as well.

memo: Currently noise suppression works on audio files. You can enable noise suppression on video by separating the audio from the video file.

Remove image background

A busy background can be distracting. This feature helps you remove the background of an image in just a few clicks and focus your audience’s attention on the content that matters. Right-click on the image and Remove background.

You can add another track row below to overlay any video or image you want behind the image to create a completely new look. You can also apply image background removal to images with objects in the foreground to create your own stickers.

Image background removal service is available to all customers using personal and business accounts.
