Eligibility Criteria The contest is open to Indian citizens only. Essays can be submitted in Hindi or English as per the categories mentioned in the description. Application Requirements The essay must not exceed 300 words in length. No political comments are allowed. Participants may only send one entry. If an entrant is determined to have submitted more than one entry, all entries will be deemed invalid. Items must be original. Duplicated or plagiarized entries will not be considered for the contest. There is no cost/registration fee to participate in the competition. The participant must be the same person who wrote the essay. Essays should reflect original thinking and expression. If you mention the author’s name/email, etc. in the body of your essay, you will be disqualified. GANDHI SMRITI and DARSHAN SAMITI reserve the right to verify original documents including proof of age before awarding prizes. Participants must ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and updated as GANDHI SMRITI and DARSHAN SAMITI will use their MyGov profile for further communication. This includes details like name, complete postal address, email ID, phone number, etc. Items with incomplete profiles will not be considered. All rights, disputes, amendments or all matters related to this competition/guidelines/evaluation criteria etc. will be decided by GANDHI SMRITI and DARSHAN SAMITI and are final and binding. GANDHI SMRITI and DARSHAN SAMITI reserve the right to cancel or modify all or part of the competition/guidelines/evaluation criteria, etc. at any time. Any changes to terms and conditions/technical parameters/evaluation criteria or cancellation of the contest will be updated/posted on the MyGov platform.
