EMBL-EBI/Sanger Postdoctoral Fellowship: The EMBL-EBI-Sanger Postdoctoral Programme (ESPOD) offers postdoctoral researchers an exceptional opportunity to engage in collaborative research integrating both experimental and computational approaches on the Wellcome Genome Campus.

EMBL-EBI/Sanger Postdoctoral Fellowship (ESPOD) program

• 🌍 Both EMBL-EBI and the Sanger Institute are located on the Wellcome Genome Campus and promote close collaboration.
• 🧬 Researchers have access to scientific expertise, well-equipped facilities and an active seminar program.
• 📅 The duration of the ESPOD scholarship is 36 months and begins within 12 months of the award.
• 💸 The monthly stipend for the ESPOD scholarship is £3,307 after tax (excluding pension and insurance).

Title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Research scope: Multidisciplinary research projects including but not limited to the characterization of multicellular molecules, the impact of structural variation in humans, predictive modeling of cell signaling, generative modeling of single-cell data, single-cell multiomics, bioinformatic and statistical approaches to longitudinal metagenomics, and the integration of SNV and CNV signals for trait association testing.

Location: Wellcome Genome Campus, United Kingdom

Suitability/Qualifications: PhD in a relevant field, sound knowledge of experimental and/or computational approaches, proven research excellence and the ability to work independently and in a team.
