EMBL-EBI/Sanger Postdoctoral Fellowship (ESPOD) program 🌍 Both EMBL-EBI and the Sanger Institute are located on the Wellcome Genome Campus and promote close collaboration. 🧬 Researchers have access to scientific expertise, well-equipped facilities and an active seminar program. 📅 The duration of the ESPOD scholarship is 36 months and begins within 12 months of the award. 💸 The monthly stipend for the ESPOD scholarship is £3,307 after tax (excluding pension and insurance). 📆 The deadline for applications for the ESPOD scholarship is Sunday, September 29, 2024, 23:00 GMT. 🎓 Interviews for the ESPOD Fellowship will take place in person on Tuesday 10 December 2024 at the Wellcome Genome Campus. 📋 Applicants can choose from predefined projects or propose their own, which require approval from the group leaders. 📝 The application includes a cover letter, a CV and two letters of recommendation. Location: Wellcome Genome Campus, United Kingdom Suitability/Qualifications: PhD in a relevant field, sound knowledge of experimental and/or computational approaches, proven research excellence and the ability to work independently and in a team.
